Myton Industries, Pembroke Park, FL Reports Resin Sourcing Issues

September 26, 2017 By Tarnell Company

In an interview, President Raymond Leone reported that this custom rotational molder for the industrial and packaging industries was closed until September 21, 2017 due to the loss of power resulting from Hurricane Irma. Subject did not sustain any physical or structural damage resulting from the storm, however, Mr. Leone advised that the company is having issues sourcing prime grade LLDPE from its distributors, primarily due to Hurricane Harvey and its impact on PE production capacity. The company is waiting 4-5 weeks for material shipments and paying additional premium and freight charges.
