Spotlight is a new concept in sales support and account management. Combining current information derived from direct interviews with validated year-over-year and current quarter material spend, Spotlight is your best tool for lead identification and qualification, and contact management.

Tarnell constantly monitors and polls our database of over 8,000 processors to identify changes in behavior, investment and production. Our Spotlight program provides real-time insight into each subject company’s key contacts, operations, resin consumption, target markets and projections.

By highlighting and quantifying opportunity, and identifying key contacts, Spotlight can help prioritize and focus sales resources, as well as augment existing account management practices.

How Does Spotlight Work?

A dedicated team of inhouse analysts constantly conducts direct interviews with a management representative from each subject company. The interview process focuses on contact verification, business orientation, and details of resin purchase quantities and categories. We then add resin spend information and financial stability status drawn directly from proprietary Tarnell data. The result is detailed and immediate insight into the extent and orientation of resin spend and quantity for each subject company – the most comprehensive and contemporaneous indicator of opportunity available.

How Can I Get Spotlight?

Spotlight is available both on a subscription basis, and via profile reports on individual companies:

- Spotlight subscription – each week information on a portfolio of companies that have been profiled that week is delivered in Excel form to facilitate immediate integration with your own CRM or sales management platform. Deliveries are made 50 times per year. Total annual delivery is approximately 1000 companies.
- Individual Company Reports come in PDF format, and provide full Spotlight information on a single company.
