What is Spotlight?
Tarnell constantly monitors and polls our database of over 10,000 processors to identify changes in behavior, in investment and in production. As an extension of this core function, Spotlight focuses specifically on processors whose year-over-year spend has increased as of the most recent fiscal quarter and, as a result, provides indications of current or prospective opportunity within that universe. Delivered on a weekly basis and comprising information gathered the same week, Spotlight comes in three different levels distinguished by the granularity of information and provides real-time insight into each subject company’s key contacts, operations, resin consumption, target markets and projections. How Does Spotlight Work?
Each week, a dedicated team of inhouse analysts conducts direct interviews with a management representative from each subject company being targeted that week. The interview process generates the bulk of the insight that Spotlight delivers and focuses on contact verification, business orientation, and details of resin purchase quantities and categories. This is augmented, depending on level, by resin spend information and financial stability status drawn directly from proprietary Tarnell data. The result is detailed and immediate insight into the extent and orientation of resin spend growth for each subject company – the most comprehensive and contemporaneous indicator of opportunity available.
How Can I Use Spotlight?
By highlighting and quantifying opportunity, and identifying key contacts, Spotlight can help prioritize and focus sales resources, as well as augment existing account management practices. For brokers and resellers, the information highlights sourcing and brokering opportunities.
Spotlight is delivered in Excel format so it’s easy and convenient to integrate with your own database or sales support tools, or to apply your own analytical or statistical software.
